NHS Direct is looking for members of the public to become involved in our programme of research, service evaluation and clinical audit

User and public involvement is a vital part of this work; not only are the views of our users crucial to the improvement of our services, but a public perspective helps to ensure that our work is useful, relevant and of high quality.

We have a variety of projects in which you could become involved. Our current projects include research into support for people with long-term conditions, an evaluation of the use of online symptom checkers and health assessment tools, and a clinical audit of our current patient feedback system. The level of involvement is up to you – you don’t need any experience, just an interest in health services.

If you would like more information or would like to register an interest, please visit our website, or email: research.involvement@nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
